Admission Policies
How admission works at Pflugerville Montessori School, from your first tour to your child’s first day.
Joining our school
A clear, welcoming admission process.
Admission to Pflugerville Montessori School is open year-round, and applications are considered based on availability. All families are welcome to join our school.
Because Montessori is best understood in person, every admission begins with a tour. From there, the process is simple and transparent.
The admission process
Four steps from tour to first day.
01

A tour is required for all interested families. Call (512) 251-0428 or request a tour online.
02
Receive your package
Admission packages and current rates are provided during your tour.
03
Apply
Submit the application form and fee. Admission is first come, first served, based on availability.
04
Enroll
Complete your enrollment forms, confirm your schedule, and prepare for your child’s first day.
Timing
When to start the process.
Requirements vary by age, so review the program your child will enter. In general, we recommend contacting the school about 6 months before your child’s desired start date. We enroll throughout the year, so it is never too early or too late to ask about openings.
Readiness by program
What each classroom requires.
Each program has age guidelines designed around a child’s stage of development.
- Toddler: 18 months to 3 years
- Primary: 3 to 6 years, completely toilet trained
- Kindergarten: the third year of the Primary cycle
- Elementary: grades 1 through 6, with prior Montessori experience recommended
Tuition and schedules
Transparent rates, flexible schedules.
Tuition depends on your child’s program and schedule. Half day, extended day, and all day options are available, and the school is open year-round, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Current rates are included in the admission package you receive during your tour.
