Children ages 6 to 9 years are self-confident, independent and joyful scholars with an insatiable curiosity and sense of wonder in a wide range of fields of studies. In the elementary program, all subject areas are integrated and organized to emphasize the connections between different subject areas. The curriculum is much more than the “basics”. The Montessori Elementary curriculum encompasses all core subjects such as language, math, geometry, botany, biology, social science, geography, history, art and music. In addition to the core subjects, additional enrichment activities such as culinary skills, research projects and other extended activities pertaining to lessons are included. The children also develop time-management skills, record keeping, responsible behavior, character development and taking accountability for their studies and work. Our goal is to help students how to learn and instill the joy of learning throughout life.
